Hey, I got mine pireced a few years ago... & dont freak out, its normal.. they usually give you a little paper saying use alcohol free mouth wash after you eat.. rinse with warm sea salt/ or salt water .you can take an ibprofen, however many you would take for a headache.. that will help some with the pain and swelling.. dont smoke or drink beer it has yeast which can cause it to get infected.. just dont touch it let it heal on its own just help kepp it clean. rinse with salt water ALCHOL FREE mouth wash- any kind.. and expect it to hurt some for about a month, i remember being like omg this was so not worth it... for about a month befoer it was healed.. its gonna feel like it has a little ball in the middle of your tongue, get a white ring possibly.. dont pick at it or mess with it, it is normal... hope that helped!

LOL^ no professional piercer would be saying yellow stuff coming out of a piercing is normal. That alone sounds like an infection.

How are you maintaining the cleaning? Your tongue is going to be sensitive for a while. It is NOT normal to have yellow pus coming out. I've had my tongue pierced 3 x. The circles around the ball are pressure points from the ball resting on the flesh.

Avoid dairy, smoking and oral. Rinse your mouth out after everytime you eat or drink anything but water, with antiseptic mouth wash for the first 2 weeks of the piercing. Do not move your tongue and play with it for a few weeks. it needs time to heal and the more you mess with it the harder it makes things to heal. Gargle with warm salt water 2-3 x a day for the first week, then lower it to 1-2 x a day for the following 3 weeks after.

Don't panic its normal. It will probs take at least a full week for your tongue to get back to normal. The sensitivity comes from your tongue being bruised which will go away. And the indents from the balls is that your bar is to short & your tongue is swelling pressing against the balls. If the swelling gets to much or becomes painful go back to where you got it done & request a longer bar.
