Can a guy who likes sex ever want to get married or will he always be a player?

I am one of the pre Aids generation and noticed that when Aids became a real concern many men and women settled down or became abstainers because of the chance of getting infected. We were woefully ignorant of it.

Almost all guys like sex and always will. Getting married doesn't have to mean sex stops. Perhaps you mean monogamy? There is such a thing as open marriage, too.

If a guy wants/need variety, he should not promise monogamy.

Most men can have casual sex without getting attached to a woman, but most men also enjoy sex more with someone they love.

Learn this and you'll save yourself much trouble: YOU CAN'T CHANGE ANOTHER PERSON. If you want a "player" to marry you, and even if he does, unless HE wanted to make a change, initiated the change, and stuck with it, he'll still be a player. You can't change anyone else, but you can cheer them on as they change themselves, or you can limit your involvement with them if they do not change.

He will get married when [1] he meets the (or a) right girl and [2] he realizes he is getting too old to attract hot young chicks. He will always be a player, but only look and not touch if he is smart. If he is not wise he may be an unfaithful husband. He needs to learn that a bird in hand is better than two in the bush.

Yes, most guys do eventually settle down with one women but for some guys it takes a really special women to accomplish that. Generally speaking, the younger a guy is the less chance their will be of this happening.

Yes, he will marry when he finds the right one.

All guys like sex. With a lot of guys that's all they want, you start talking about a relationship and commitment and they find someplace else to be. But there are actually some that want to get to know the girl too, who would really like to stick around if given half a chance. I'm still looking for one of those.
