BQ: Has there ever been a year when boxing greats are dying so much, or is this usual for boxing?

* Boxers are humans. Humans experiences death. Therefore boxers, no matter how great they are or were will experience death.

It's been a terrible year, I hope no we don't lose Macho Camacho or any other great boxers.

Keep praying. Hector Camacho once declared himself a born again christian. I hope his faith in the Lord continues, if so, and if he die then he will live with God for eternity.

Hector Camacho was shot in a drive by last night in his birthplace of Puerto Rico. He was first Saud to be in critical then it was said he would survive. I then saw something about him having heart trouble. He then was said to be close to brain dead and they are now waiting for his son and mom to pull the plug. Very sad.

wow.. i didn't know Michael Dokes had passed.

but i really do hope Camacho can recover. in his prime he was one of the most gifted boxers (ever) in the sport. i pray the Lord's mercy and grace be upon him.

sad to say he is in the last fight for his lfe

all we can do is pray .. but in many cases only so much can be done

i only heard the news in the past hour. my prayers are with camacho and his family at this time.
