Wii U backwards compatibility...?

Now, i've heard that the Wii U is backwards compatible with Wii games, but I'm concerned that it may not be able to play games that you had to point at the screen. For example, I know it will play games like Resident Evil 4 and New Super Mario Bros, but idk how or if it will play games like Wario Ware: Smooth Moves or Call Of Duty. Could someone please explain to me what games it plays and if there's anything extra required for playing Wii games? Thank you!

The WiiU is backwards compatible with most Wii games, like you said. Wii accessories- like the Wii-mote, Nunchuck, and the Balance Board are compatible as well. So it should be able to play your games, heh.

    Good luck!
