Why are dmv employees so rude?

We are paying customers. No need to be treated rudely

They work long hours and are paid very little. There are also people who go there who are not very smart and have no idea what they are doing. I do not think they should be rude to people but I can see why they are sometimes. I would never work at the DMV.

Try to look at things from their point of view. They mostly deal with dumb angry people, and they don't get a bonus for working harder or faster. Yes, sometimes the lines are long, but that's mostly because the DMV hasn't hired enough workers.

you're not a paying customer. you are paying taxes. which in turn is paying their salery. they are a public servant. they work for all of us.

1, they deal w/ a lot of idiots

2, they have the only game in town.

i give 'em a smile to look at. first thing. helps. good for them too. they need it.

  • If you had to deal with complete idiots all day long you'd be rude too.

they deal with people who are in a hurry all day.if your immersed in bad attitude all day,its gonna seep in.

Source(s): if you think your dmv is rough, try mine, drivers license tests and ids are done at 1 place, then have to be verified at the tag office.the test office is open 2 days a week and takes 25 people a day.pack a lunch, get there early.you got it good.
