Why is Santa Clause always jolly?

Because he came from the poem 'The Night Before Christmas' and in the poem was said to be a "Jolly Old Elf" that was jolly and laughed a lot.

Because he's knocking down 3.5 % of the gross sales for this time of year and he's got "the Oracle of Omaha" investing it for him plus some offshore accounts. He hardly has any overhead and uses child labor and poor draft animals to do his work. Guy puts in about 2 months work a year and thats mostly figuring his porfits and where to put it.

I'd be jolly too and don't think that red nose is all from cold weather. I think he gets a little Christmas cheer in a flask.

Simply said, he loves making the children happy. He gives gifts because God gave us a gift, His Son.

He is jolly because he has mastered forgiveness...even for the most naughty child!

i recently moved and wanted to make sure he knows..

He's supposed to be loving giving out all the gifts and playing games with the kids, like not showing up to go down the chimney when he said he would or whatever.

And notice all the naughty boys get is coal ?
