The people re-elected 236 members to the House. Hardly an Obama "mandate" When the GOP runs a true Conservative they win. One thing you are forgetting or may not know over 8 million Republicans did not vote. More than enough to put Obama in the ditch. They did not like Mitt because he was not Conservative enough.

Elections are "cyclical". Just because your party won 8 years, doesn't mean it will win 80 years consecutively.

Do note, that is the same country that re-elected George Bush. If they can do that, they can definitely not vote for democrat candidate in 2016.

The only reason Obama won is because he is the first black president. Any white president with such record, would never be re-elected.

You guys have never ruled over 8 years at max in the past 40 years at least. Make it 12 years in white house (like GOP did from 1980 to 1992), and I would consider the idea of relinquishing extremist idealogy

The Tea Party is starting to lose its influence. Unfortunately, the neocons think that they need to move farther to the right to survive. They don't realize that the majority of Americans are moderates.

you mean the extremist ideology that everyone should be equal regardless of work ethic? The one where everyone lives with rainbows and unicorns thanks to the government? I think you need to replace GOP with DEMOCRATS!

considering the fact that the last thing a Democrat would want is a GOP that will unseat them from power, I'd say your little trick ain't gonna work!

Survival comes first, said Mao, to Nixon. Yes, they are on life support, partially brain dead, with only fleeting glimpses of the sign of life. I think the Norquist type and his ultra wing, will resist and that fill finish them off in the infighting to follow, it has already begun.

No, voters decided it was not all Obama fault so they are giving him some extra time but he wont change anything and there will continue to be no jobs and high government spending

They will beg for Rubio in 2016 and sooner if Obama is impeached

They may even go really "extreme" and hire commentators with degrees in journalism or some crazy thing.

Source(s): Hannity, Beck and Rush Limbaugh have not one single college degree between them, fyi.
