Conservatives should be all for Obamacare---it employs two things they love: private enterprise and self reliance.

Liberals should hate Obamacare because it is not single payer (Medicare for all)

I think those who passed the bill did a horrible job of selling it. The product is good-----it eliminates discrimination of the already sick. and eliminates free loading moochers who pay nothing and get medical services for nothing.

The Tea Party is really ignorance on parade. I would guess that 90% of Tea Partiers are incapable of higher order critical thinking. They seem to have a hard time with comparable thought and seeing things from a perspective not their own.

If the USA didn't go around the world trying to impose our will on everybody else, then we wouldn't be in the trouble we are.

But since "W" messed things up so badly we have to deal with lunatics who want to kill us in the meantime.

We need our government to do everything it can to prevent these nuts from doing stuff until we have about a generation of NON-Republican rule.

Obamacare uses two things conservatives are very fond of---personal responsibility and free market solutions for everything.

The mandate eliminates all the scum sucking free loaders who show up at the ER with no insurance.

The exchanges employs free market solutions for affordable health insurance premiums so people can still profit off the suffering and misfortunes of their fellow human beings.

The liberals and progressives are the ones who really should be opposing Obamacare--it still uses capitalism for a human condition that doesn't follow the rules of supply and demand.

During the first term, the GOP tried to obstruct everything Obama did. That didn't work because he got elected again.

Now during his second term they are creating scandals to basically destroy him.

Should we declare the GOP insane or just petty sore losers?

If anyone thinks Obamacare is socialism, then they must either be ignorant or delusional.

Just so happens that these are also the main tenets of Obamacare. The exchanges are a free market solution. The mandate is personal responsibility. You can't be a freeloader any more under Obamacare.

It makes me sick when people say Reagan's tax cuts caused economic expansion. Have they ever studied history.

Billions have been spent on right wing propaganda by the billionaires who want to make Americans think government and government spending is the problem when it's really not. The real problem is the lack of believe that we as a nation can solve our problems thru our government that exists only by the consent of the governed.

We as a nation agreed with Obama that the rich have had it too good for too long and their excesses screwed over the 99%. It's their turn to start paying back the money they exploited. It's not going to take a year or too, but it took 30 years of Reaganomics to get us here and it's going to take 30 years of high taxes on the rich to get us back in line so we can all grow and prospe

Stories and opinion articles in the popular press have identified the Community Reinvestment Act

(CRA) as a culprit in the foreclosure crisis. CRA was passed by Congress in 1977 with the goal of

encouraging banks to meet the credit needs of the communities in which they have branches, with a

specific emphasis on low- and moderate-income neighborhoods. Banks are subject to reviews to see

if they are meeting their CRA goals. Since a bank’s CRA rating is considered when banks seek to

engage in mergers or acquisitions, CRA’s regulations are taken seriously by banks. There is fairly

significant evidence that CRA has, in fact, resulted in an increase in credit flows to low- and

moderate-income areas where CRA-covered institutions have branches (Apgar and Duda, 2003).

Critics of the CRA claim that the wave of risky lending was generated in no small part by banks

having been pushed into making these loans to meet their CRA requirements.

Fed Chairman had much more to do with the recovery than Reagan did in the early 80's.

Volcker kept interest rates really high for really long to break the scourge of inflation. When he finally lowered them during Reagan's first term, pent up demand was release which caused the economy to boom. Adding to this flood was Reagan's use of Keynesian Economics thru massive deficit spending on the military.

Military spending is one big stimulus.

Obama had no tools at his disposal. The entire world financial market froze up due to BoZo Greenspan keeping interest rates too low for too long.

The south switched parties in the 60's after LBJ worked to give Negroes civil rights.

Those who think Democrats were the party of slavery and the KKK, take a look at where all the red states were in the last election.
