Are you allowed to put a mobile home on a site in Corrales, NM?

We are thinking of insstalling septic, drilling a well and putting a mobile home on a one acre site in Corrales, NM . I don't seem to find any information whether or not we would need any permits for moving in a mobile home to the site - obviously we'll need permits for septic, well drilling, etc., etc. but can't find any info on whether or not we are allowed to put a mobile home on the site - the zoning doesn't seem to be very clear on what the requirements are. Does anybody know?

Call the building department and ask. It's a "yes" or "no" answer

You trot on down to the county seat and go to the zoning department in person with the specs for your trailer and the legal description of your lot in your hot little hand and tell them you want to apply for a building permit. Site prep, ie septic, well and electrical stub-in will probably be the same as for any dwelling so just look at basic specs for building residential housing and watch for any thing that mentions "manufactured housing" as being different. I don't know anything about Corrales per se so cannot predict what your reception will be. How many mobile homes on private parcels/lots are there in the area? That will tell you a lot.
