Larger tires on 4:10 Ranger gears?
I have a 1998 4cyl Ranger on stock 4:10 gears with 14 inch rims and P225/70R14 tires. I want to get slightly larger tires to give my truck a more aggressive stance and better traction. What are some bigger sizes I could get without having to get bigger rims and/or change my gearing?

Either way you have to get different rims. I would go with a 14x8 front with 245/50/14 and a 14x9 rear with 295/40/14 . That's if they still make tires that wide in a 14

you could get some 17 rims off a 2001 to 2010 explorer and bigger tires you would not have to change your gears but your speedometer will say your 15 mph and you will be actually going about 20 mph
