what should I do about SSD ?
I have stage 4 cancer and just started receiving SSD. Iam getting worse every month but now I can still work a couple days a week. Should I keep working and hope I can start up SSD before I am in a wheel chair.

As long as you aren't working and earning $1010 a month you have nothing to worry about and if you are you need to report it - immediately. A requirement for entitlement is that you are not able to work and earn $1010 a month for at least a year. So if you return to work and earn $1010 a month or more before the year is up it is quite possible that social security will reopen the decision on your claim and deny it because you obviously wouldn't meet that requirement. That would mean that you would have to refile if and when you stop working.
Any way you look at it the law requires that you report your work activity. Social Security needs to know how many hours a week you work and what your hourly pay is. If you know that you will soon be unable to work and earn $1010 or more a month then I think you would be extemely foolish indeed to do so. Do you really need that aggravation?

If you have stage 4 cancer I think it is legitimate you stop working if you are or will soon be receiving SSDI.

If you can work you should. If you can earn $1,010 a month or more you'd eventually lose your SSDI.
