Any kind of teacup puppy will be a constant source of worry and heartbreak for you, as you watch the darling suffer through its short life.
Teacup puppies are bred from runts, and even starved by the breeder during their first weeks to stunt their growth further. This treatment leaves the poor babies with many health problems, such as: Open fontanels, hypoglycaemia, cardiac problems, collapsing trachea, luxating patellas, seizures, hydrocephalus, blindness, digestive problems and brittle bones. The simple fact is, teacups cannot eat, run, jump, play or LIVE like a normal dog should.
Please, don't buy a teacup breed of any kind, you are actually supporting inhumane breeding and animal cruelty by doing so. Adopt a happy, healthy dog from a shelter! My family rescued a gorgeous maltese terrier from the pound, and she is a funny, adoring, and very healthy breed that has lived as long as I have (I'm 14)!! Can I recommend you adopt one of those rather than a sickly teacup?

Teacup yorkies, are runts and badly bread dogs (often tortured to get the 2-3 lb size) A breed standard yorkie is 5-8 lbs. A teacup yorkie is an abused dog, don't even look for one.
My dog was pulled from a BYB, she was starved less then 4 lb, trying to be be breed. She is now a health 5.25 pounds,
A so called tea cup yorkie, so badly breed, has an expected life span of less than 5 years.
Check petfinder.com to find a dog in need of rescue rather than supporting a bad breeder.

First of all, there is no such thing as a 'teacup'. The term was created to identify the smaller breed created when breeding runts after runts to get a smaller dog. These dogs normally have alot of genetic problems since only an irresponsible breeder would do this. Look at your local shelter or a Yorkie rescue. Rescues will sometimes have puppies available or you can let then know you are interested in one and they will contact you when they have one that needs a good home.

No such thing as a teacup size dog. They are just poorly bred runts and can definately have more health problems. It sounds like you need some healing time and then look for a reputable breeder through the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America.
