I'm confused (mixed signals)?

Question

There's a guy in my class who I noticed because he reminded me of someone. Anyway, he always looks at me, or stares a little, and then look away. It becomes pretty obvious to me, and I wanted to approach him and say hi, but I'm a little shy. Anyway, he has a twitter account and I decided to write something to him on there, as my last attempt at communicating with him. So I tagged him and said that he looked familiar, blah blah. And I'm pretty sure he deleted it, it doesnt appear on his twitter wall. I'm pretty sure he must've recognized me.
Idk what all the starring was about?
I'm a little confused and upset, I wonder what's on his mind, but it seems like there is nothing more I can do.

Coming from a guy, he's into you if he looks at you a lot.  But you gotta be sure that he looks at you and not someone or something else.  Also, i'm not sure how twitter works since i don't have one but he could just be really shy.

Guys are very confusing. All I can say is he doesn't like you he was just maybe interested in you. Like maybe you remind him of someone. I wouldn't worry about it and just leave him alone

Its called figuring out your emotions. Its the male equivalent of girls staring, then looking away when caught. Either he'll get over it and start talking to you or.... irks I lost my thought track.

if you say something to someone on twitter, it doesn't show up on their "wall" unless they retweet it.
