Is the Y!A spell checker running in Russian or Sanskrit or something these days?

It's never been good but now it always tells me that every word is misspelled,

except sometimes when they really are, lol!

As of the above line it said I had 15 errors in the mainQ and 22 in the details.

Now I have 39 and rising. Ooops, 44. I'm scared to type more ... 50!!!

Update:

Well, it's nice to know I'm not alone. I was getting a little insecure!

I actually like to just let it go. It makes me laugh. I guess I'm easily amused these days.

    hahahaha....

    yup, facing the same situation.

And the irony is that it has Stopped pointing out a typo I frequently make [yoiu instead of you] !

In the event I add links, or use Hindi words in Roman script, Monsieur Oops has a whole song & dance sequence going, disregarding his 2 left feet !

Most of my answers are relatively long. I easily get over 200 "misspellling(s)". Only 66+ this time ;-)

Update : Your plea has been heard ! They've cleaned out the Spell Checker stables & only the 'new typo-turds' remain ; but its English again ! You are truly blessed :-))

I'd only written "I" when the "Oops! It looks like you have 4 misspellings" error popped up. How one letter could generate four misspellings in any language is mystifying. I used to wish I could reach through the screen and break the pencil in half. Now I often write something along the lines of baebueaovbneavneobe or other jabberwocky at the beginning of a question or answer so the pencil will go ahead and pop up. If you click the x it usually makes the pencil go away for the rest of that question or answer so it won't incessantly spring up.
