What do you think of Jamie Foxx calling Obama, 'our Lord & Savior'?

We all knew what many Obama supporters think. When the right called him the Messiah, the left laughed and called us paranoid. Now we know the truth, and it's a very ugly one. Only he isn't their "Lord & Savior" He's their Lord and Master. They are riding the donkey on the plantation and don't even know it.

Yeah, good, Foxx is a comic as good and most often wasn't critical. As for the Fox Noise chick, what the hell was she going on about. I'm pretty definite Foxx would not depend on govt for whatever, but a hell of various poor humans do--and many of them worship a god and vote towards their first-rate pursuits.

I don't care who said this -- allegedly, anyway.

It's DUMB, and guaranteed to strike most Christians, Jews & Muslims as blasphemous.

I haven't checked on your link long enough to see whether Jamie Foxx actually said this incredibly stupid thing, or if some rabid conservative activists is only trying to make it seem as if Foxx said it.

But in any case, it's dumb, offensive, and an insult to everyone's intelligence.

BTW - My Ph.D. girlfriend, who spent some years in India, loves to recount what someone said about Gandhi: "They took the biography of a great man and converted him into a mere god."

Obama is NOT "Lord and Savior" of anyone. However, history may or may not come to look on him as a great politician, given his time & his place.

It's an insult to Obama as well as Jesus to forget Obama's secular achievements, while at the same time claiming theological virtues for him that he doesn't have. It's beyond stupid to call the man a god, the only relevant question is whether he's a good politician or a bad one.

i am surprised obama won the election? but some people still likes him and thinks he is doing great! so all of our hope for a change is gone! we now will have another 4 more years of the same things- different day without any hope for change!!!
