Why don't we offer Israel to set up a Jewish state in central Australia?

Israel's area was chosen for a reason.

I agree it would be safer, and given how they grew under stress they'll just prosper immensely over there. It doesn't have the history or the other ties that drew the Jewish people in the first place. In addition, it's a bloody insult to the people who gave their lives to build such a proud and remarkable country.

Israel is Jewish land! G-d gave the land to Abraham and to his descendents. He didn't say, take Australia and make a great nation. He didn't say, take Antarctica and make a great nation. Why would we leave Jerusalem to Arabs?

Just wanted to let you know that after WWII (and before) the Australians went to great lengths to ensure Jews don't enter Australia.

But even if you did manage to establish Israel in Australia, it wouldn't have helped: the anti-semites would have complained that the "Khazars" steal the land of the aborigines.
