As Stalin said:
Britain supplied the time.
Russia supplied the blood
America supplied the money.

I've never heard the phrase 'Grand Alliance' applied to WWII. Britain (and her Commonwealth), the USA, and the Soviet Union were the 'Allied Powers' -- and with the rest of their supporters around the world the 'United Nations' (which then became the name of the global organization at end of the war). Britain and the US are often referred to as the 'Western Allies' since their partnership with the Soviet Union was always one of necessity rather than preference.
But, each member did bring different important contributions:
Soviet Union: Manpower (over 10 million combat troops), ability to absorb huge casualties against the Germans
British Empire: Large surface navy, additional manpower in colonial territories (chiefly India)
USA: Industrial economy capable of also supplying the British and Soviets, additional manpower (about 4 million combat troops), high-quality warships and aircraft by 1944-45, atomic bomb program

The US and the Soviet Union were the two big powerhouses of the war. Each had massive manpower and industrial bases. The Soviets had the Eastern front against Hitler, tying up lots of German resources in Eastern Europe and killing lots of their soldiers. The US provided most of the manpower for operations in Western Europe and also bankrolled the Allies. The British were there as the one major power who had fought Hitler the whole way. They provided a base conveniently close to Europe as well as important forces in North Africa and important air power.

Soviet Union.... lots of troops.
Britain.....political leadership/ strategy/ staying power.
USA.......money, weapons, planes/ ships, and goods.
Of course all 3 supplied everything, all fought and all bled, but these are what each provided more.
