Will there be a Final Fantasy XII (12) remake or sequel?

No remake and no sequel.

The only HD Remake in the works is Final Fantasy X and, while XII is possible in the future, they are currently planning to release it as one of the PS2 Classics on the PS3. If they release it as is (meaning, the same way it looked and played on the PS2), then they won't do a remake.

So, until FF12 comes out as a PS2 Classic, an HD remake is possible, though it would be some time. FFX's remake was announced well over a year ago and there has been no new info about that.

A sequel, however, is not going to happen. They would not make a sequel to a game from last console generation. They only did other games connected to Final Fantasy VII because of how popular that game still is.

There is already a sequel for the DS called Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings

An HD upscale is possible, however unlikely

a remake is a possibility but i doubt a sequel. there already past making sequels for 13 let alone 12

what's up with anybody wanting sequels in FF these days? No, i do no longer want a FF12 sequel, i choose Squenix to get their heads out of their butts and make yet another sturdy FF instead of junk like FF!3.

Oh how i wish we would get a sequel for that game :) But sadly it's highly unlikely. The fact is FF12 had already got it's sequel called FF12 Revenant Wings. They also had started another sequel called FF12 fortress. Here's the link for it!
