Are noses a good indicator of blood pressure issues?

For the last two days I have been under a very stressful work situation where people are truly being stupid and irritating the heck out of me. It typically takes a lot to make me even raise my voice, might happen twice a year, so it is rare.

Anyway after I get upset lately I notice this feeling in my nose...sort of burning, kind of like the after effects of getting water up your nose, mostly in my nostrils only. It got me wondering if this might be an indicator of a blood pressure problem. I have never had BP issues, but i am over weight, no history of blood pressure or heart issues.

I would say absolutely not. The best indicator of high blood pressure is the blood pressure cuff. A high blood pressure is usually completely silent until either a vessel ruptures acutely or damage occurs to your heart and blood vessels over time. That's why we get annual check-ups... to pick up silent things like this and treat it before it becomes a problem.

I agree with the previous answer.

I have high blood pressure and my nose is no indicator of high BP.
