How do I know if I like him? I don't want him to get hurt?
There's this guy that likes me. We were talking the other day and he told me. I said I didn't like him like that, not right now. Ive been thinking about it a lot and I think I like him back. I want to tell him, but Im scared that maybe I don't really like him and I'd end up hurting him in the end. I get butterflies in my stomach whenever I think about him! I love being around him. But i dont know if thats just my sleepyness talking. The thing is, if I leave everything like it is, I know things will be fine. We're good, and we can stay friends. So my questions are - how can I know for sure if I like him? And is it worth the risk to tell him?
@HeyTherePony - you bring up a really good point. That's another thing Im worried about, liking him just because he likes me. I'm usally really careful to make sure I don't like someone just because they like me but idk this time...

Well, sorry but one of you is probably going to get hurt in the end anyways, but if you two are mature enough you can stay friends and work through it afterwards.
You could always just keep hanging out and see if your feelings progress and see what happens. Sometimes relationships just happen...that's how a few of mine did.
Otherwise go out on a date and see how that goes.
I know people who start liking people once they hear that they like them. It did happen to me a few times when I was really young.
