a piece of lumber has a length of 2cm a width of 3cm and height of 10cm. mass is 60 grams. whats the density?

also what is the volume of an object with a mass of 15g and a density of 5g/ml?

    1. Volume = 2 * 3 * 10 = 60 cm³

    density = mass/volume = 60 g/60 cm³ = 1 g/cm³

    2. You need the units in ml, the only way you get that is to divide mass/density, so

    volume = (15 g)/(5 g/ml) = 3 ml
