If someone is bigender or fluid gender, what about them is changing?

If one is constantly shifting between male and female, then what about them is changing? Are they not the same person? Does their personality change, do they have multiple personalities? If one feels that their gender has changed, then what is it precisely about them that has changed?

Bigender has always bugged me for the simple fact that gender does not change, and bigender people are usually special snowflakes who are more masculine/feminine on some days then others. To claim gender can change though is ridiculous.

This is probably a medical issue. It could be related to hormonal shifts, or it could be a mental health issue. The body is the same, but the person's perception of who he/she is can change according to the situation at hand. I would advise the person to see a psychoanalyst ( specialized type of psychiatrist) and also a physician who deals with endocrine disorders. Between the two, they should be able to figure out what is going on.

-Their psychological gender. Nothing more. A biological female "bigender" will always be female to a gay man.
