My Network security says : no authentication \ Encryption type : None?
What does that mean?
It's a temporary router till the previous one get fixed but I'm worried about what does this one mean?
also , I've tried all types of options but it always says : the Network requirements don't match with the security type of this comp : the network is unsecured while my comp is set to secured (that's the way I understood .. hope it's correct)
so, I'm not worried much about someone might use the wireless connection , what I'm worried about is : will anybody have access to my comp?
I've turned off everything in the sharing center
please explain this in the easiest form you might come up with .. thank you !

It means that your router doesn't have a password. As long as your computer require authentication (username and password) to view shared files you don't have anything to worry about.
To check and see if it is set, go to Control Panel -> Network and Sharing Center -> In the left column click change advanced sharing options -> Go to Password Protected sharing, you can turn it ON/OFF on for both the public and home network.

Just log into the Router via your browser and the Router's IP (Which is usually the Default Gateway) and secure the wireless connection.
It's not the fact that you shut of sharing, if they can connect to your network, they can begin to sniff your traffic and begin tracking user logins to things you log into while your access is wide open.
Remember 9 times out of 10, it's the data collection they want not the goofy family photos of you and your kids (if you have any) :)
