Good tablet for 12 year old girls?

Have 12 year old twins who would love a tablet for Christmas. They want it for games, reading and watching movies, they dont always have access to wifi so want something they can download movies too and watch offline.

Update:

Kindle and Nook Tablets are great but can you store a movie on it to watch offline?

    Google Nexus 7...does all that you mentioned and isn't expensive too

    Kindle Fire. Not as expensivee as an Ipad. The Google Nexus is supposed to be good too (and also not as costly).

    My Daughter just turned 11 and sounds very similar to your little girl. If she is in to gadgets (which my daughter is crazy about) she might like a pink camcorder. I bought this one for my daughter's birthday for about $100 at walmart : DXG 5.0MP Compact Digital Camcorder - Pink. Now I have to figure out what to get for Christmas! Good luck.

    I guess maybe a kindle or another type of tablet. The ipad is also another choice
