Army 19D or 11B? Infantry or Cavalry Scout?

I have recently made the decision to join the active duty army (I've thought it through, so please, no discussion about that), scored well on the ASVAB (93), and I want to be a combat MOS so that I can eventually get into Special Operations. That said, I was wondering about the different duties between the cavalry scout and the infantryman, and what experience could be gained through both. Any serious help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Update:

Edit 1: I know you don't have to be in combat arms to be SF, but I want the experience gained from them.

CAV Scouts and infantry are often capable of doing each others jobs. Scouts can hold their own direct/indirect confrontations just like infantry, and infantry battalions have scout platoons that usually utilize infantryman as scouts. However, Scouts are traditionally RSTA (Reconnaissance, Surveillance, Target Acquisition) which means their primary job is traditionally recon. They provide intel to further assist with follow-on missions, etc. Infantry are typically a direct fire asset. They specialize in force on force encounters. As I stated above, they are both relatively capable of executing each others jobs.

Both are respected MOS's. Both also have a rivalry together. I personally have found myself liking Cav scouts as people, but I also don't know every infantryman that there is.

to become sf you dont have to be in combat arms. cav scouts are supposed to be in front of the infantry relaying enemy info to the infantry

    really a thumbs down?
