i changed my tomahawk to a war tomahawk and then it wasnt in the armoury anymore.

No, just go to a general store which is usually in Boston,new York, Philly, ect. Go to small weapons and select the one you apwant or buy a new one

you could try loading a previous save if it doesnt come back as a last resor
