I have always been a fan of pulling for a local team. Don't be a bandwagon jumper. I am a Carolina Panthers fan, and I live 2 hours from their stadium. Been a fan since they joined the league. That aren't doing well right now, but they are local and I will stick with them.

You shouldn't be a fan of the 'best team'; you should be a fan of whichever team you're truly passionate for.
Best right now, I'd say, is New England, followed by the 9ers and Texnas.

The New England Patriots are the best team in the NFL. I mean, they literally adjust to every type of situation they're in. They can get a 13-3 record with (for most of that 2011 season) the worst defense in the league. They can go without Tom Brady, one of the best QBs in the NFL, and win 11 out of 16 games. They can dominate in any weather, sunshine, rain, snow, you name it. Heck, Brady has missed 3 of his most important receivers at least once this season, and he's a top candidate for MVP. It's amazing how they perform with what they're given.
