Please help I need new friends?!?

I just transferred to a new school this year 10th grade. Made lots of friends but I cant trust any of them. I always listen to their problems but they never listen to mine. They're all dramatic sorta nerdy and just not the type of girls I like to be friends with. It's just really hard being a transfer. How can I find better friends that are more like me? I know a couple of girls that I'd much rather be close with but it's kinda awkward bc I want to get to know them and hang out with them but I hate feeling like Im being clingy. I kinda want more guy friends too. Theyre chill, less drama! Any advice? Should I just be more confident..will that draw people in? How can I attract people that are just like me? Thanks!
