As long as you're 18+ (you are) you can buy any long gun you want (shotguns, rifles, etc). That is, as long as it follows state/federal laws (barrel length, non supressed, etc). When you're 21+ you can buy a handgun. So, in short, yes you are able, by law, to buy this shotgun. If you're unsure just feel free to call your local sheriff. Hope I helped!

That would be a pistol grip. Federal law says that as long as it has a butt stock, it is a long gun and you only need to be 18 to purchase it. Academy and probably some other companies have a policy that requires that a person be 21 before they will sell a firearm with a pistol grip to them.

The type of stock doesn't matter. At 18 you can buy a shotgun without a stock if you prefer, as long as the overall length is over 26". That's a long gun. It doesn't matter if it has a pistol grip or not.

I've got a Mossberg Model 500HD. It looks like an AR-15 on steroids. It has a nice cushioned pistol grip and a six position adjustable butt-stock. It can also be modified to remove the butt-stock altogether and just have the pistol grip.

Dude, do not do it! Pistol grips on shotguns are an extraordinarily dangerous thought. Looks cool on tv but in actual world situations they aren't valued at spit. You is not going to be in a position to hit anything and recoil might be an issue. Trust me on this please. I have been there...

Check state and local laws but I'm 99.9% sure with a 0.1% chance of error that you can buy that shotgun no different than one with a regular buttstock. As long as everything checks out on your Form 4473, you should be good.

If you live in California, you wouldn't be able to buy that because it has a pistol grip. Those are not legal in CA.

Yes you can but you might have to just buy the gun and then by replacment socks for it
