You can't keep a fire eel in a 55. I've seen them get up to 7-8 feet. If you really want an eel, get a Peacock Eel. They stay smaller than a Fire, but fairly large. Also the Angels, if you get more than one, be advised, two may pair off and attack the other fish in the tank. Also, I hope the loaches your talking about arent Clown Loches. Clown Loaches need shoals of 5+ and get up to a foot each. That's 5 1 Foot Monsters. They need a 300 gallon tank. Hope I helped.

I would recmmend focusing on the angelfish. A school of them (probably about 7 for 55 gallon tank) looks really beautiful.

i I would get a red tail shark 2 or 3 of them. Also try to get red cherry shrimp but get java moss shrip love it.And try to get clown loaches 4 of them they eat snails in other stuff keeping your fish tank clean from snails.O 1 last thing get only 1or 2 Pletco's so they will keep your take cleaner . good luck

Those are boring fish get some real cichlids. Id say green terror, jack dempsey, blood parrot, firemouth, no convicts though they are way too nasty
