Quick alternative to embroidery?
I am making coffee cozies for all of my husbands co-workers (about 30 people) and would like to put their names on the coffee cozies, but I don't think I have time to embroider them by hand.
Is there a way to embroider a name on with a regular sewing machine? or something else that would be permanent?
I don't want to use puff paint or glitter glue because these will peel quickly, especially with hot drink splashing on it.

If you are really GOOD on your machine, just pencil the name on and follow the name with a zigzag stitch, or other wide stitch that looks good. Practic on some other fabric first. I'd do it on the fabric BEFORE making the cozy, then cut the pattern around the name.
