What happened to my Avatar?
Logged on to Y!A and my avatar is the exclamation point and not the one I created.
Went to edit my preferences and selected the avatar picture and it remains the exclamation point.
What gives?

Did you recently change your status on your Yahoo base profile to be HIDDEN? That will break the connection from there to here. Go here:
and check on the GEAR icon to see if you are set to be hidden. If you are, unhide yourself and use other options to be private.
If that is NOT the problem, then we are back to the avatar issues we've been having for months with Yahoo Answers and you'll just have to be patient and wait for another "fix".

If you ever get an avatar issue of it not showing or updating and your profile is NOT hidden. I know a way to fix it, you can add in a photo, select that for use, then select your avatar again and it should update.
