What Replaced Winner-take all Primaries?

I have US Government HW & am just lost on a qustion. Any help would help, even if it's not the answer & it's a resorce of sometype. Thanks everyone.

    A proportional system is the alternative to winner take all in other words if two people ran against each other in a primary they would each receive a proportion of the delegates to the national convention depending on their share of the vote.
