how do you keep bacon fresh?

ok this might sound weird, but i am taking bacon to school tomorrow. I want to know, if i should pre cook the bacon tonight so that in the morning it wont take so long? i am bringing a lot of bacon. like 2 pounds. also i am wondering how can i travel with it? should i put it in a plastic bag? a plastic rubber maid container?

    I think you should cook it the night before and then put it in a plastic rubber maid container. That way, the bacon is sealed in tightly, and won't spoil.

    the picture of the different meat William Maxwell Aitken has a short refrig existence. I wrap mine in seperate products of plastic wrap and freeze in protecting with what a classic serving length for my kin is. yet another words, I freeze 5 products at the same time so i do not might want to thraw the finished equipment each and anytime. HTH

    Cook it at night. When you do that out it in aluminum foil or an air fresh container. In the morning heat it back up and put it back in the container. I know you probably know this but PLEASE TAKE OFF THE ALUMINUM FOIL WHN YOU HEAT UP THE BACON.

    precook it before hand then put it in a container and store it in the refridgerator until tomorrow. in the morning heat the bacon so it tastes better.

    Prepare it as late as posibble and roll it up with some plastic whrap :)
