What is the solution to iPod slowing down my laptop?
My laptop works fine but every time my iPod is connected it slows down. Though it's only a dual core but Drive C still has more than 120 Gb of free space. RAM has 2Gb. USB is only 2.0.
Any advice guys on what to do?
We don't have Apple service here so exclude that.

As a PC Engineer I would say don't connect it. Somehow its using system resources in an abnormal way, and se iff you can borrow some one else s.
Buy an Mp3 player then you won't have to pay for the music so you will save money also.
No seriously check it is configured correctly (the Ipod I am talking about) it should be set for a mass storage device because thats all it is to the PC. I currently have 3 such devices connected to mt PC and thy do not take any resources in fact one is set to ready boost to make the system faster.
