The negative imperative in French?
Hello,
I'm confused about how to turn a positive imperative (with pronouns) into a negative imperative.
The phrase is "Arrête-toi ici!"
To turn it into the negative, would it be "Ne t'arrête pas ici!" or "N'arrête pas ici!"?
Thank you

It would be "Ne t'arrête pas ici !". Pronouns or the reflexive structure of a verb still show in the negative form.

if u be attentive to the constructive crucial, e.g., fais, faites (do, make), then it is an identical variety yet with ne ... pas around it ne fais pas ne faites pas the confusing area is that any pronouns following the verb interior the constructive crucial (e.g., fais-le) now ought to precede, e.g., ne le fais pas (yet it somewhat is comparable to interior the indicative so u must be attentive to it besides).
