Is it possible to make an in-line 12 cylinder engine?

Is it technically possible to take two 1948 in-line 6 jaguar engines and machine them together into an in-line 12? it's not very probable, but possible?

LOL of course anything is possible. But if you ask a different question, is it PRACTICAL, the answer is that it generates extra torque on the crank of the rearmost of the two engines (i.e. the 2nd engine has the torque of both engines passing through it), and this may require using a stronger forged crankshaft. another approach would be to arrange the motors in such a way that the power take off is from the center. Multi-engine Pulling Tractors commonly use this sort of approach.

yes it is possible. Provided you do the math and the research on how to join them. Considering theyre so old, you will probably need to machine some sort of joint to conjoin the cranks. Other option is to machine a straight 12 block that will mate to the 1948 heads.
