What a stupid idea. I used to think that the EUROs were much more special than the WC, but ever since EURO 2012 (which blew sh*t), the expansion to 20 teams for EURO 2016, the host country being France instead of Turkey I slowly started to not care about the EUROs.

If they use this as an opportunity to give the UEFA members that are too small to host a full blown tournament a chance i.e. Belgium, Scotland, Ireland, Croatia, Denmark, Sweden e.t.c then it could be worth it but if they just go round England, Spain, Italy and Germany it'll be a wasted opportunity.
