Is there a way that I can use my current printer with my laptop?

I have an HP (Deskjet D2445) printer which is connected to my PC. I don't use the PC any more because I have a laptop (Acer Aspire). Is it possible to connect the two or do I need a different printer altogether?

Yes you can if your laptop supports it, which I'm sure it will

Just select your operating system and download the drivers

Install the printer software and driver onto the laptop using the CD that came with the printer or download the software and driver by printer model number from HP Printer support website.

if drivers are available for your OS (and 64-bit/32-bit), then yes. windows 8 may have them built-in.

a laptop is a pc too. only thing to be concerned about is the OS.

usually things work just fine. install the printer software and follow the directions to find out.

Your printer should work with the laptop. You will just need to install the drivers onto your laptop and connect it to the printer.
