Why do the ridges towards the butt area of my corduroy pants disappearing?
Past the seam between the crotch area and the bottom area, the corduroy fabric begins to "fade out." I tried looking up why, but I can't seem to find anything about it.
If it's cause I'm fat, just let me know.

The pile is wearing off from abrasion. From the information given, I can't tell what the underlying problem is, like a bicycle seat, or pants that don't fit you correctly.
