My girlfriend promised to take a friend to the prom before we started dating?
I recently started dating this girl and the prom's in a few months. I'd expect to take her since she's my girlfriend but she already promised to take this other girl to the prom (this other girl is straight and in a completely platonic friendship with her). I'm just wondering what to do about this if me and her are still dating by the time the prom rolls around and she has to choose who to take. Or maybe she could take both of us, I mean we're not afraid to go there but I'm afraid that might get awkward.

If you wanna be my lover you gotta get with my friends. Go with her and her friend get to know both of them it will turn out great. If you can get one of your friends to go wih her friend it would be better. Please answer my question

A promise is a promise, so invite one of your platonic male friends, and you switch out at the prom.
Problem solved. Nobody gets hurt.

you could be very sweet and offer to escort both of them to the prom. Or if you know a really nice guy that you could double date with the two of them.
Then again, if its months away, the friend may find a boyfriend of her own.
