picky dog does not want to eat her dog food?
i have a 5 year female boxer and this has happened before she has not wanted to eat her food for three days now i feed her wellness simple soutions lamb and oatmeal wet plus dry but when iam makeing breakfeast she shows alot of intrest in my food. i dont give her any table scraps because i know its not good for them. i give her the nuvet supplement for her alligies and skin problems. i am just wondering why does she doing this were she goes in spurst of some days she eats and other days she rather not eat what do you think

Probably bored with the same food for 5 years...or there is something wrong with it (stale?)
I know if I buy a big bag of my dogs favorite, he knocks me down to get to the bowl when I first open the bag and it is fresh. Not so much when I we get to the bottom.
Buy a small bag of another brand and see if she is interested in that kibble.
As long as she is willing to eat I would not worry.

Watch the canine Whisperer. It can be my new favourite show. He continuously says in the morning to rise up, and first thing before you or the puppies consume, take them for a forty five minute work to make the canine EARN his/her food. You make need to go to mattress earlier so that you would be able to wake up previous, however it's valued at a are attempting. Possibly by doing this your canine will then be hungry for the meals. You will be capable to only add water too in view that many foods make their own gravy ;) I want you success. Mike D

Try a different brand of food, if we eat the same food for too long we get bored and want something different, why wouldn't dogs be the same? If she still doesn't eat, then perhaps a trip to the vet,,just to get the dog checked out.

she is probably getting really bored of the food. you are also really smart not to feed her table scraps.
I don't think it's anything to serious. but, if changing the food doesn't help, you might want to see a vet.
