Bands similar to Placebo?
I really like the sound of Placebo's music because it's really unique. However, it seems all their songs are about sex and drugs. Are there any bands like them that have more clean songs?

You like Placebo, too?! And you live in America?! I thought I was the only one!
Anyway, I've browsed many a site, and have unfortunately come to the conclusion that there are no other bands like Placebo - not even remotely close. I've listened to a few Muse songs, but they're way more electronic and less alternative than Placebo. I've tried a few Iamx songs, too, but came to the same result as Muse. You can try at your own risk, but I believe Placebo truly is one of a kind.
About the sex and drugs... which songs are you referring to? If it were Meds, I'd understand but truthfully not all of their songs are about that. They can be interpreted as references, but often the true meanings are twofold. Besides, it shouldn't detract from your personal interpretation of the song!
Yikes, I didn't mean to lecture you; I digress... You should specify which album(s) you like, also, as they widely differ. Sorry I couldn't be more help! :(
