I've been writing poetry for years and have decided to publish it so I started typing it all up onto my laptop and as i was doing so, I realized they fell into categories. Romance (usually teenage romance), really depressing emotive poetry, happy/inspirational poetry, nature/animals, and misc. I figure it would be cool if I could at least put all the dark depressing poetry and the happy inspirational poetry into a book and have it be like a yin and yang sort of thing especially since those poems are more where my heart and soul are. But I heard it's easier to get started publishing by just sending out individual poems to literary journals. I'm not sue how well that works with the whole category thing and I don't know where I would send some of these poems to. Another problem is that some of them are more relatable to the teen crowd because i wrote most of them in high school. I know there are many places to submit poems for teens but now I'm 21 so I think I missed my chance. Please correct me if I am wrong and give me some advice and name of publishers or literary journals I can submit to?

obviously, the VW bug and the jeep wrangler, the mini cooper and the fiat, the smart car and the hummer all have lots of character. but what other cars have some character to them? what is a practical, affordable, everyday-person's car that has that something interesting about it that separates it from the crowd? because basically all i see today are the same thing over and over just by different brands

I've always wanted to go to California and maybe live there, but I don't want to live in a city. San Francisco seems like a quirky, perfect place for me, but I don't want a high cost of living. Currently, I live in upstate New York where it is much cheaper than New York City. I don't want to have to start paying a whole bunch more for groceries and doctor's visits because I decided to move. I need a place that has lots of sun and nice weather, small-townish but lots of things to do nearby (suburban or close to nature), employment opportunities for a cop or HVAC technician, and a place where I can start my pet sitting business which will be half pet resort and half pet-sitting such as boarding and house visits.

I don't know where in California would be a good place for all these things, so what do you think?

I'm looking for a PC or online game where you can build a nation from the ground up, such as choosing a type of government, economy, and policies (monarchy, dictatorship, direct or representative democracy, communism, capitalism, etc). Suggestions please?

Where is the best place to live in the Poconos in PA, in your opinion? If I were to move there someday, i would want to find a place that is safe (no community developments), somewhat secluded and quiet, woodsy, and near civilization (such as a mall, movies, downtown, etc). I don't really know the area, so where in the Pocono counties would best fit this description?

I am currently going to school for a psychology bachelor's degree and I am in my third year. However, I am no longer sure if I want to get a master's in mental health counseling after this anymore like I had originally planned. I don't know how well I would be able to handle such a stressful career, dealing with other people's stress everyday. I was thinking maybe I could become a recreational therapist instead.

My questions:

Is recreational therapy less stressful but just as rewarding as mental health counseling?

Can I go into recreational therapy with just a BA in psychology or would I need to change my major or get a master's degree in recreational therapy?

I'm very interested in deaf culture and I would like to learn more about it by reading a book about a deaf character. Maybe something like Five Flavors of Dumb by Antony John because that revealed the life of a girl who was deaf.
