where is the best place to live in the poconos pa?

Where is the best place to live in the Poconos in PA, in your opinion? If I were to move there someday, i would want to find a place that is safe (no community developments), somewhat secluded and quiet, woodsy, and near civilization (such as a mall, movies, downtown, etc). I don't really know the area, so where in the Pocono counties would best fit this description?

Update:

I would also like to add some ephasis on it being safe. Are Tannersville and East Stroudsberg safe? Because I heard some stuff about them that they are not safe.

Just off the NE Extension of the PA Turnpike is Tannersville. You may also want to consider East Stroudsberg.

Tannersville isn't off the Northeast Extension. And East Stroudsburg isn't safe. I wouldn't recommend anywhere in Monroe County. The crime has gone through the roof and the traffic is horrible, especially on weekends.

In the last 30 years, the Poconos have really gone downhill. The areas that I would personally recommend are the areas that are still secluded and not near civilization. But with a car, you can be in either Bethlehem or Scranton in less than 45 minutes from anywhere in the Poconos.

Draw a line that runs 10 miles north of I-80 then 10 miles east of I-380 then 10 miles south of I-84 and the finish the line by drawing a line down 10 miles west of US 209. Anywhere in that square would be okay.
