Vegetarian "meatless" recipes?

I want to start eating less meat. I'm not switching over to being all the way vegetarian but Ideally I would like to switch to eating meat only about three times a week. I want to start off small with "meatless mondays". Can anyone suggest some good recipes?

P.S. to anyone who will post rude comments I'm lowering my meat consumption because over consumption causes health problems such as heart attacks, and primarily because most animals used for meat are treated inhumanly. I want to switch to a local source of meat where I can see how the animals are treated!

^Fish flesh being better for you than other meats doesn't change that it's meat, fish being animals....

    OP, I highly recommend

    http://www.allrecipes.com/

The advanced search feature allows you to filter recipes by vegetarian/vegan/low-calorie, etc,

and to also search for those containing ingredients you like/have, excluding those you don't.

    Love.

Making vegetarian food is really not hard. Unless meat is the basis for the meal then it can usually just be taken out. Also in the frozen foods section you can find vegetarian faux-meat. Many people eitehr can't tell the difference in taste or can but like it anyway. It's cheaper than real meat and easier to make. Specifically look for the Morning Star Farms stuff in the green packages.

    Hi,

How about eating more fish instead? It's much healthier then meat. I love Thai style salmon- http://burntthespaghetti.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/th... but if you really want to go just for vegetables, roasted veg and cous cous is delicious!

Enjoy and good luck with it.

Well, you could try Vegetarian chilli, lasagne or home made hummus which are all filling. I have put all my favourite veggie recipes into a blog : )
