This was said by English poet Alexander Pope who is one of the most quoted men in history!!!

Sir Isaac Newton and his great knowledge and wisdom has always fascinated me. As a worshiper of God it greatly warmed my heart when I learned of all he had discovered by searching through the Bible. Some of his discoveries have been considered heretical, but brilliant! In an era when the trinity dogma was held supreme, his findings as to it's falseness was amazing! No other way to say it. Amazing! Just think about this: If at that time his findings had been published, he more than likely would have been executed, and the greatest scientist who ever lived could have been burned at the stake for his views about God and his son, Jesus Christ. Many, many, many God fearing people at that time and before were martyred simply because they did not believe the false doctrines of the church or because they simply possessed a Bible. If this does not prove Satan was involved in the goings on back then, I don't know what could. Another facet of this man, albeit strange, was his interest in alchemy. This in essence is the turning of base metals (like lead) into very valuable metals (like gold) by the use of uncanny powers, spirituality and the like from antiquity. I do not understand why he found an interest in this and can only figure he was extremely open to anything and everything. I suppose that is why he was such an amazing individual.
