Do you find atheism and Christianity to be very similar?
I am going to get a lot of hate from this. Atheism- 100% no god. Christianity- 100% there is a god. They both are so sure of it and no one can change their mind.

But you are mistaken.
There is no claim, conclusion or certainty implied by atheism.
Atheism is simply a lack of theism.
Theists are those who are certain (believe, have faith)
that at least one hypothetical deity, that they are imagining,
is actually real.
Everyone else is atheist, because all that atheist means is 'not theist'.
It makes no difference why any particular atheist is not theist.
Newborn baby or ancient philosopher, if they are not theist,
they are atheist, regardless.
And many newborn babies will change their mind
and become theist, in a few years.
So you are wrong about that, also.

I find your question ignorant...Chrsitianity is a religion...one of many. Atheism is the rejection of religion, gods and supernatural claims..that would be Christianity and ALL other religions. And furthermore, as an agnostic atheist, I don't claim that there is no god but I don't see any evidence for it...Christians probably are certain a god exists while some are also agnostic, meaning they don't know for sure..that help?

Atheism = normality.
Christianity = messed about with mentally.
I see no similarity.

The difference is not their stance on God but the fact that Christianity is a religion. The difference between God and no God is minor, but the difference between religion and no religion is massive.

Are there any actual positions where they're like "maybe god?" I don't think so.
