Well, just make up a story. Write about how you were too busy doing homework to rescue Grandma from the monkey exhibit at the zoo after she parachuted in while escaping from a foreign network of spies that were trying to steal the secret family recipe. And thanks to your homework, your grandma is wearing tree leaves and living off bananas, and has probably forgotten any other means of communicating except for "ooos" and "aaahs"
