Should I get checked out by a doctor? Fainting/possible concussion?

So Monday around noon, I got back to my apartment after taking an exam. I checked my email, had a glass of water, sat around for a minute. Then as I was going to use the bathroom, the next thing I know I am waking up on my bathroom floor. I fainted. I was unconscious for about 2 minutes (I based this off of when I sent my last text message, which was immediately before going to the bathroom).

As I was coming to consciousness my body was doing these weird convulsions/twitches, and I had a LOT of confusion. I thought somehow that it was a weekend and that I drank too much alcohol and was just really drunk. Then I convinced myself that I was still in bed and that I slept through my exam (even though I had already taken it).

I know that I fell from a standing position, and I know that I landed really hard and smacked my head. Because when I woke up I had a LOT of pain on the back of my head and a throbbing headache. My back was hurting me as well, presumably from the fall.

I had no one to call to help me or anything, so I just kind of slept it off for a few hours, but I am not feeling any better.

I still have a really bad headache, a sensitive spot on the back/side of my head where it hit, I am nauseous, I am irritable, still have no recollection of the events surrounding my fainting, and my ENTIRE body hurts right now. I'm SO weak and shaky. The front of my neck (like around my jugular) is especially sore and weak. It's like my head is too heavy and my neck can't support it. Overall I feel a lot like I am just extremely, extremely hungover!! That's the best comparison I can think of. It has been about 15 hours since passing out + hitting my head and I feel just as bad now as I did immediately after.

So with the headache, nausea, confusion, dizziness, weakness, etc., is it possible that I have a concussion??? I just don't really have anybody here to help me so I need answers.

Update:

P.S. my best guess as to why I passed out in the first place is exhaustion/low blood sugar. I've been working out more lately because I've been so stressed. So on top of being busy and working out, I haven't been eating much because it just slips my mind.

Yeah you should get checked out ASAP. Even before hitting your head, passing out for more than a minute can raise concerns. You could very well have a concussion. Not much that you can really do, but don't overwork yourself, don't drive, and ice the back of your head for pain. Lots of bed rest until you can get seen by a doctor.

Hello, THE DR. WILL mostly investigate YOUR REFLEXES,examine YOUR imaginative and prescient, and so forth. DO AND X-RAY AND probably send YOU FOR A CAT SCAN OR M.R.I. NOTHING TO BE CONCENED ABOUT AT THIS point. MY mom HAD A CONCUSSION AND IS quality NOW. Good success TO YOU.
